What is Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a wonderful and powerful tool to enrich our lives. Hypnosis can empower you to break undesirable habits, create desirable ones and constructively manage or resolve personal issues. It can instill true happiness.
There is connectivity between your body and mind. If you are mentally unhappy, physical afflictions will likely surface. In recent years Hypnosis has gained acceptance as part the health care systems evolution. Hypnosis fosters relaxation and can release tension and negative feelings. It also promotes good health via the infusion of positive and wonderful energy. Hypnosis is absolutely safe, natural and non-addictive; adverse or harmful side effects are unlikely.
Four key factors to attaining successful results from hypnosis are
Belief | Hypnotic communication is not possible if doubtful thoughts and/or fears are present. |
---|---|
Motivation | One must be motivated to seeking change through hypnosis. The Hypnotist is just a facilitator and cannot change your life. You are the one who needs to be ready and willing to improve your life. |
Imagination | You need to identify your issue(s) and imagine that you are completing the task, performing the skill and engaging in this activity with complete success. You need to imagine yourself reaping the rewards of your successes. For example, athletes use “image rehearsal” to improve their skills. They imagine each part of the athletic event as winners and they do. |
Anticipation | Success is achieved when your subconscious mind is thoroughly convinced that you are capable of your obtaining your goal. For example, if a comedian anticipates the audience to laugh, they will. |
A Hypnotist is a facilitator, who provides individuals with therapeutic tools for goal achievement while in hypnosis. Regression, one such tool, can heal trauma, pain and phobia. However, to avoid traumatic and unpleasant events called Abreaction this therapy should be carefully used and only when deemed necessary by the Hypnotist.
The “Tans” is a relaxed daydream-like state in the subconscious mind that anyone can enter naturally. In this state the brain generates an alpha wave that enables the conscious mind to become tranquil, passive and receptive to suggestions. A qualified hypnotist induces you into this powerful subconscious mental state and introduces positive and constructive suggestions.
